Meditation As Therapy

Meditation is a wonderful tool to help ease the stress and tension of everyday life. A regular practice can increase self awareness which applies to many aspects of overall health. Unfortunately, getting started is often a hurdle for folks. Even after getting started often times beginners think they aren’t doing it right. I will often hear a client say “I am terrible at meditating”. The purpose of this group is to provide an accessible space to experience a meditation practice where tips and tools are offered as support. Additionally, as a group we will discuss struggles and success, giving an opportunity for participants to learn from one another. The key focus of this group is learning to take the body and mind awareness cultivated while meditating, off the cushion and with you into everyday life activities. Everyone is welcome. Group meets every Monday 9am-10am Eastern Time. Group is always available virtually with two weeks per month also available in person in Decatur GA at Vista Yoga. $25 per group. Participants are asked to attend 6 groups minimum.
